Danilynn joined KWCH in Spring of 2011 as a sports reporter and CIK reporter in the Dodge City area.

I was born in Chicago, spent a lot of my childhood in Melbourne, Australia and would say I grew up in Fort Worth, Texas. I moved to Dodge City from Stillwater and this is my first on-air job.

My family is my everything. They are my biggest fans and I would not be where I am today without them. I grew up around sports nuts and athletes. I have a younger brother, Ryan, and a younger sister, Taylor. We all competed against each other and made each other better as athletes and as people. We came from extremely athletic parents. My mom was a state swimmer, my dad was an NCAA linebacker and my stepdad played in the NFL and competed in professional rodeo. We were born to be sports fanatics.

I graduated from Oklahoma State University with a double major. I have a B.S. in Sports Media Broadcasting and a B.S. in Broadcast Production. I did freelance work with ESPN and Fox Sports during my time at OSU.

I was an active member of my church in Fort Worth and hope to continue my spiritual journey here in Dodge City.

I just retired as a professional football player this year. I played wide receiver for the Dallas Diamonds for five seasons but now it is time to pursue another dream. I was a captain, three-time Pro Bowler and 2008 Super Bowl Champion. I also played for the Women’s USA National team last summer. We competed in the Women’s World Championship in Stockholm, Sweden and beat Canada in the gold medal game.

My hobbies – I love to workout, read, surf, snowboard, travel, play any sport I can get my hands on, especially football, spending time with my family and having fun with my friends.

I live and breathe Cowboy football…both OSU and Dallas Cowboys.
