July 19, 2013|by Sia Nyorkor | KWCH 12 Eyewitness News

Police arrest two people on accusations of running a teenage prostitution ring. They say it happened at the Sunflower Inn on north Broadway.

26-year-old Daniel Tucker and 22-year-old Shawtaya Shaffer were arrested on charges of human trafficking and recruiting for forced labor.

When police found one of the teenage girls she had crack cocaine on her.  She told police that Tucker made her hold it for him.

Police took the teenage girls to the hospital to be checked out.
Their case has been turned over to Wichita's Exploited and Missing Children's Unit.

Police say Daniel Tucker is a documented gang member with a criminal history. Both he and Shawtaya Shaffer are being held at the Sedgwick County jail.
