As much as Cindy Opat loves her garden, she hates her hose. "Well this hose, it's very long, as it needs to be to reach where I want to water. But I don't have any place to hang it up. So, it looks rather unsightly in our lovely garden. It also kinks very easily,” Cindy said. That's why she wanted us to test the XHOSE. It's supposed to expand to three times its size and never kink. We got it online for $19.95, plus shipping and handling. Click to See XHOSE Test Photos So, will the light weight, roughly nine-foot-long, blue garden hose pass our practical test?

Watching TV isn't always relaxing for Bill Rexroad. "It's difficult for me to understand all that they are saying," Bill said. Admittedly, Bill's hearing is slipping.  But before he turns to a hearing aid, he wanted to see if "TV Ears 3.0" could help him get by for a little while. "I saw the ad in a magazine and I thought wow.  If that works, I want one," Bill said. We ordered a pair online for $99.15.  That includes shipping and handling. We took care of charging the headset overnight before we got to Bill's house.  So, Bill just had to plug-in the AC Adapter into the wall.

The family member says Nagel does have a concealed carry permit.  However, Wichita Police say it wouldn't make any difference because schools are a gun free zone.

The cold case of Beverly Logan stands-out to Salina investigators, because Logan did not.  Lt. Scott Siemsen says the 56-year-old grandmother was quiet.  "She pretty much stayed to herself and didn't bother anybody," Siemsen said. Siemsen says Logan had no enemies.  "We don't have a motive," Siemsen said. And she enjoyed working as a certified nursing assistant. "She lived alone.  She basically went to work and came home," Siemsen said. That's until January 21st, 2008.  The usually prompt Logan didn't show-up to her job.  "They called later, said she did not report to work, very unusual, asked for us to go over and do a welfare check," Siemsen said.

From a distance, some homes in Bel Aire look untouched by Sunday's storm.  But Duane Howard of Equity Builders says he's seeing a lot of roofs totaled.  "We're actually seeing breakage of the shingle.  Not just bruising.  But true breakage,” Howard said. We've been showing you pictures of storm damage from the Northeast section of Wichita and Bel Aire… windows, siding, and cars hit by hail. "This is a pretty easy storm for the insurance adjusters to come out and work.  Because the density of the hail and the duration of it, it pretty much got everything it hit,” Howard said.

The GoGroove FlexSmart X2 proved easy to install because it's wireless. But the audio quality wasn't great. There was a lot of background noise.

Dehumidifiers come in handy this time of the year, when rainy weather leads to damp, moldy basements. For a large basement, Consumer Reports recommends a large- capacity dehumidifier. Testers found that large-capacity dehumidifiers are generally more energy-efficient than medium-capacity dehumidifiers, and they will cost you less per pint of water removed. That's important because dehumidifiers use a lot of energy. Testers also check how accurately dehumidifiers control the humidity in the room.

Greg Spring would like to shed some light on the boxes inside his basement supply closet. "We actually drag it out to the hallway to have it under the light,” Greg said. He needs a light bulb.  But he doesn't have an outlet close-by and he doesn't want to wire the closet.  That's why we handed him an Insta Bulb.  It's a stick-up light bulb.  All you need are four double-A batteries.  We found a box of two Insta Bulbs for $10.99. With the batteries in, Greg is ready for installation.  Just peel and stick.
