One person dies in an accident early Friday morning in Stafford County. The crash happened at the junction of Highway 281 and K-19, which is about ten miles north of St. John. The Kansas Highway Patrol says a pick-up and a UPS semi collided, the driver of the pick-up died in the crash. UPS says the driver of the semi has been with the company eight years and has never been in an accident.

A man from Howard dies after he's hurt on the job in the Wilson County. The accident happened around 6:00 Tuesday evening at Aerospace Manufacturing Company in Fredonia. According to our news partners at KFDI, a part from a milling machine flew off, hitting the man in the head. 51-year-old Donald Marchant was flown to a Wichita hospital, where he died. Investigators say Marchant had been on the job for only a month. The Occupational Safety and Health Administration says they are investigating the accident.

Jerry Milligan died Saturday afternoon from injuries sustained in an accident while working at Spirit AeroSystems. Officials with Spirit say Milligan was working with a fuselage panel on Thursday when the accident happen. They add all the circumstances surrounding his injury are yet not known. In a statement released Saturday, company officials say, “We are deeply saddened by the death of our team member Jerry Milligan. The safety and well-being of our employees is our top priority.

An accident, then a fight stops traffic on a busy Wichita road. A car and a motorcycle were merging onto westbound Kellogg earlier tonight, when they crashed into each other. This happened near Hydraulic, just west of I-135. The motorcycle driver was taken to the hospital with minor injuries. A pair of fights broke out at the scene, first between other bikers and the driver of the car. Then again when family members arrived on the scene. One person was arrested. The cause of the accident is still under investigation.

By Eyewitness News (STERLING, Kan.) The Rice County Sheriff's Office says eight-year-old Cutter Proffit died after his ATV collided with another ATV. Emergency personnel responded to the accident four miles east of Sterling around 2:20 p.m. Sunday. Map - Lo cation of Accident The Sheriff's Office says Proffit was driving a 2010 Polaris Ranger in the yard of a residence. His ATV collided with a smaller Honda ATV. Proffit's ATV rolled onto its side.

by Robert Marin (SHERIDAN CO., Kan.) A Tennessee man is dead after an accident near Hoxie in Sheridan County. The accident happened just after 7:00 Tuesday night south of the K-23 and U.S. 24 junction. The Kansas Highway Patrol says a semi hauling a livestock trailer was driving south on K-23 when for some reason the driver left the road. Investigators say the semi went through a ditch and pasture fence, eventually coming to rest on its wheels in the pasture. 52-year-old Andy Bradford, Jr., was taken to Sheridan County Health Complex where he died.

A toddler died Tuesday in a farming accident in Gove County. Sheriff Allen Webber says the accident happened about five miles southeast of Quinter near an irrigation well. Map - Approx. Location of Accident The boy has been identified as Ethan Flora. The sheriff released few details, but said Ethan's father rushed him to the Gove County Medical Center where the 3-year-old died. Sheriff Webber has determined there's no need for a criminal investigation.

A motorcyclist is critically injured following an accident just north of Wichita Sunday evening. It happened on K254 near the Hillside exit around 6pm. Officers say the man was driving at a high rate of speed when he left the roadway and crashed into a guardrail. The motorcyclist was thrown from his bike and was taken to a Wichita hospital in critical condition. Authorities believe that speed and alcohol were a factor in the wreck. The man was not wearing a helmet.

A Reno County man is dead after his car struck a semi east of the Victory Road intersection on K-96. The Kansas Highway Patrol tells Eyewitness News, the car left the road as it was traveling eastbound. The car crossed the center median and struck a semi in the westbound lane. The man driving the vehicle was ejected and pronounced dead at the scene. Westbound traffic is currently being diverted there. The cause of the accident is currently under investigation.
