A stalled front over Kansas was the dividing line between 100 degree heat in central and southcentral Kansas, and highs in the lower 80s across much of the west Monday afternoon. This front is expected to slowly push south over the next 24 hours, allowing much of Kansas to enjoy some milder weather. Highs on Tuesday will cool back into the mid and upper 80s, with the exception of southcentral Kansas where highs will still reach the 90s. With the front in the area, there is the possibility a few storms may fire off over southcentral Kansas Tuesday afternoon, but most areas are expected to stay dry. Wednesday should turn out to be a nice day with a little less humidity and sunshine.
