Her father, Jonell Lloyd is on trial for her murder. "Will you please stop looking at me?" Twice in the middle of questioning, Tameika Loudermilk told Jonell Lloyd, her ex-boyfriend to look away as she testified against him. A body was found late Tuesday afternoon a few miles outside the town where police have been searching for 14-year-old Alicia DeBolt. Vehicles from the sheriff's office, Great Bend Police and the Kansas Highway Patrol are at a construction site southwest of Great Bend. The Attorney General's office confirms the site where the body was found is at the corner of K-56 and SW 56th Avenue. (see related photo) Map - Location of Construction Site The press is being kept at a distance, but Cliff says he can see police tape.

Police are investigating death in Hutchinson. Officers discovered the body in the 500 block of E. 3rd Avenue on Thursday afternoon. The officers were responding to a welfare call when they found the body. An autopsy is scheduled for Friday in Wichita. Investigators are not releasing the person's name until they can notify the next of kin.

On November 19, 2008, three year-old Natalie Pickle was home in Dodge City with her mother's boyfriend. The boyfriend told investigators Natalie fell off the bed. She died the following day. Now, three years later, charges have yet to be filed in the case. The legal battle began immediately. The boyfriend's attorney hired a private pathologist who wanted to observe the autopsy. The autopsy was supposed to be done at the Sedgwick County Regional Forensics Science Center in Wichita. But the facility does not allow outside experts to observe practice and procedure.

By The Associated Press (Junction City, Kan.) The body of a newborn infant has been found in a ravine behind a Junction City apartment complex. Junction City police received a call Saturday afternoon that someone had discovered the body.  It appears the baby was born recently and was full term. Police said in a news release that authorities planned to perform an autopsy on the baby boy to determine the cause of death. Police are asking the public for help locating the mother.

by The Associated Press COFFEYVILLE, Kan. (AP) - Authorities have identified a man found dead in a Coffeyville motel room hit by flooding nearly two weeks ago. Police say that 55-year-old Junior Denning of Canton, Illinois, was found dead July 5th in Room 21 at the Budget Inn by search teams going door-to-door looking for victims. An autopsy found that Denning died from asphyxiation by drowning. Coffeyville Police Commander Mike Brown said Denning was twice told he should evacuate the motel as floodwaters approached, but on both occasions he refused to leave.

Authorities in Marion County discover a body located at the Marion Reservoir. They believe that it's that of Timothy Kliewer. The body was found about a 1/2 mile South of French Creek cove along the west side of the Reservoir. The Kansas Department of Wildlife and Parks, the US Corp of Engineers and the Marion County Sheriff's Office recovered the body. Kliewer has been missing since May 12 after a boating accident. An autopsy will be conducted to positively identify the body.

Reno County authorities are investigating a hot tub drowning.  They were called to north Kent Road in eastern Reno County just before noon Sunday. When they arrived, they found 41-year-old Michelle Price dead.  The home is the residence of two other people who were letting Price stay with them. An autopsy determined Price drowned.  But it will be several months before toxicology results are available to determine if anything else contributed to her death. The Reno County Sheriff's department continues to investigate.

Latest Update By Sarah Kallail (HUTCHINSON, Kan.) Hutchinson police say they have made a fourth arrest in a Hutchinson homicide. 33-year old Joshua Haines was found dead in his car on April 10th. Investigators say he died of blunt force trauma. Three men have already been charged in the case. Anthony Waller and Jose Delacruz face charges of 1st-degree murder and aggravated robbery. Vasie Coons is charged with  aggravated robbery. Police say they've been looking for the fourth suspect for a few days.

The Ellis County Sheriff's Office says the death of an 18-year-old whose body was found Monday afternoon was accidental. A coronor's report showed she died of Hypothermia along with a cerebral contusion and head injury from a fall. The sheriff's office says its initial investigation shows 18-year-old Citlatli Armendariz left a party in the 1100 block of 250th Avenue and headed northwest. While walking, she accidentally fell from a six-foot embankment and landed head first on the ice in Big Creek.

Hutchinson Police say an autopsy revealed Jennifer Heckel died from two gunshot wounds. She was found dead inside her home Tuesday night. The police are still investigating what happened and are currently talking with person's of interest. There are no suspects at this time but police say they don't believe this was a random act of violence. "We don't have any indication there's someone out there randomly doing something," Police Chief Dick Heitschmidt said. Around seven o'clock Tuesday evening neighbor called police to report the sound of a gunshots.
