A circus tiger on the loose greets a Salina woman in a restroom. Not the experience she expected on her first trip to the circus with her family. And she wasn't the only one with a close encounter at the Bicentennial Center. "It was a pretty quick event," said Jenna Krehbiel. She wasn't talking about her first trip to the circus, but about what happened between acts on Sunday. "The tiger show had just finished and I thought, 'Well, this would be a good time to head to the bathroom and be back before the next show,'" said Krehbiel.

You've heard, "There's an app for that?" Now chinese softwear developers have created a new application to help you find a public restroom. The interactive app uses GPS technology to map out the location, let you know when they are open..and even if there is any toilet paper. Big cities in china are notorious for not having enough public restrooms. The bathroom app is set for official release in May. Till then...you'll just have to hold on.

Okay, we're all adults here...so no giggling. Going to the bathroom may never be the same. A ballpark in Allentown, Pennsylvania has installed a new urinal gaming system in men's bathrooms. Guys, your urine stream actually controls the game. The idea is already popular across the pond in England. The ballpark's general manager says there's also a health benefit...as the screen will remind guys to have a prostate check. No word on whether a women's version will be next.

Would you go to a stranger's home to use the bathroom, if you are in desperate need? That's the idea behind an app that's under development. People could register their homes, and become part of a network--trading the use of their bathroom for a small cost. When you're in need, you'd open the app to see hosts in your area. You send a message, and if they're home and agreeable, you come over and use their bathroom. The developers hope to launch next year.

The man charged with raping an elderly woman in her Salina hospital room takes the stand in his own defense. Paul Henry Parker Jr. faces ten charges, including rape and battery. Forty-six year-old Parker was one of only two witnesses the defense called. He denied any wrong doing, and said he didn't rape anyone. Parker could face more than 50 years in prison. During his testimony, he said he went to the hospital looking for a bathroom and couldn't find one on the first or third floors, even though he admits he passed several on his way. Parker testified "there was a room open, I saw a bathroom so I went in. " He says at first he didn't realize the room was occupied, but when he saw the patient, he didn't want to alarm her. He said "I told her I used her bathroom.
