WSU needs something good to close out Eck Stadium for 2011 and they hope that happens against K-State tonight. The Shockers (32-24) have yet to sweep a Missouri Valley Conference series this season and need a boost before traveling to Bradley this weekend. Even worse, K-State has won the last six games against the Shockers. The last coming earlier this season in Manhattan when the Wildcats came back to win, 5-2. Zach Beringer will get the start tonight for the Shockers, sporting a 5.12 ERA and only two wins this season.
