The devastating tornado in Moore, Oklahoma has left many here in Kansas wanting to help.  As we know, most of the charities are asking for cash to buy the items needed for the victims. They ask for cash because their purchase power is much greater and they can make dollars stretch further.  But we also know that not everyone can afford to donate cash, but are willing to donate their gently used items for the cause. That's why Eyewitness News, KFDI and Goodwill are organizing a two day donation drive.  Friday and Saturday, all Goodwill stores in the KWCH viewing area will take your gently used clothing and household good donations.

"On your newscast whenever you go to a segment that is produced by CBS News with their reporters, you always say they are Eyewitness News reporters and label them as such on their identification. Why do you do this when they are not associated or employed by channel 12? I don't believe anyone is fooled into thinking KWCH has Washington and international correspondents. Wouldn't it be just as easy to say 'CBS News correspondent_____has the story'?" Actually, we ARE associated with CBS News and CNN, which gives us access to their reporter stories.
