by CBS News & The Associated Press It was Harry Potter pandemonium at London's Piccadilly Circus. Sosia Haskia's journey to be first in line here began five days ago in Holland. Being so close to finding out the fate of the schoolboy wizard in the seventh and final book of a saga that has gripped the imaginations of millions young and old? She's got no regrets. For many of the hardcore Potter-maniacs, the place to be was Waterstone's bookstore in central London. More than 5,000 people lined up for hours before the midnight opening, in a festive, colorful line stretching around the block.

Die-hard Harry Potter fans brave the heat to be among the first in Wichita to see the final movie in the Harry Potter series. It's 95 degrees out but fans are still donning their Hogwarts sweaters and wizard cloaks - all in the spirit of Harry Potter. Lines formed Thursday outside the west side Warren Theater.  But even after battling the heat and the boredom, fans say tonight will be worth it. "We've been planning this since May...we're pumped" says Sydney Steele, of Wichita.

by John Boyd Letter carriers with the Wichita Post Office expect to see a number of smiling Harry Potter enthusiasts Saturday. The US Postal Service is delivering Harry's final book, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, on the official national release date. Approximately two milliion of the three pound books will be delivered, 1450 of them in Wichita alone. The Postal Service says, it's handling delivery for five retailers and internet shippers which are shipping pre-ordered books.

They were lined up, dressed up and pumped up. "Potter-mania" was in full effect on Thursday. "We're waiting to see Harry Potter 7, part 2!" Looking like gangs of Hogwarts students, fans found their spots outside Wichita theaters - determined to be some of the first people inside the doors for the midnight showing of the final movie in the Harry Potter series. "I have my yoga mat, my big blankets, lots of sitting space, my water bottles, my candy... " explains Hannah Douty.  The first group arrived at 9:00 Thursday morning.

Shane is extremely honored to be taking on a role as iconic and historically significant as Harry Potter in "The True Story of the Making of the spoof of the Story of Harry Potter. " This is Shane's second foray into the world of wizardry, having played Harry once before in the Harry Potter spoof that started it all. Shane has starred in such roles as Rick in the critically acclaimed Dr. Donut , and Ebenezer Shanister in the historical biopic "The Crew Visits Cowtown. "

Associated Press - July 20, 2007 11:34 AM ET LONDON (AP) - Excitement is building as Harry Potter fans flock to bookstores around the world, waiting for the seventh and final installment in the series. The witching and, in this case, the wizarding hour is one minute past midnight Greenwich Mean Time. That's when bookstores in Britain will fling open their doors to put the "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows" on sale. Shops in Singapore, Australia and other earlier time zones will begin selling it at the same time.

Larry is excited to join the cast of this daring Harry Potter documentary production. Having been an artisan behind the scenes, Larry is world renown for his camera grip abilities. However not a stranger to the small screen, Larry has been in such ground-breaking videos as The Crewby-Doo Mystery Crew , as well as showcasing his unique musical stylings in the Broadway musical number scene in the very first episode of The Weekend Crew. When he’s not rehearsing hours every day for his role as extra on The True Story of the Making of the spoof of the Story of Harry Potter, Larry likes to spend his time hugging obese cats.

As Saturday dawned, bookstores across Britain were the first to throw open their doors to fans lined up to buy "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. " The seventh and final volume of the popular series goes on sale around the world as midnight hits each time zone. Stores are even ready in Israel, where law requires most businesses to close on the Sabbath. In Britain, eager readers, many of whom had lined up for hours, rushed away clutching their precious prize, cracking open the book to read the opening lines: "The two men appeared out of nowhere, a few yards apart in the narrow moonlit lane.

Just a few weeks after the exciting news that the Crew nabbed the infamous director Yani Heussenheim, their momentum has seemed to come to a full stop! Turns out this high-talented director also has a high temper when he is not happy. And he is definitely not happy. Some sources say the problem is due to the intense special effects planned for the spoof while others insist its due to flaws in the casting.

From movie theaters to museums; the heat wave means more business for any indoor activity. “Transformers”, “Harry Potter”, and “Captain America”...sure it's been a summer of big budget hits....but that's not why people are lining up to catch a show. Nope, folks are looking to stay cool and out of the sun. "It's doubled our business over the summer, a lot of people are happy being in a cool theater so they can sit and relax," says Martina Zavala a manger with the Salina Central Mall 10 movie theater.

A group of fans are calling the Warren Theatres home for the next two days. They'll be spending as much time there as their own houses. "We've gotten up and moved around between the first and second movie but we wanted to keep our seats for this one. I think I'm gonna have to go for a walk after the next movie," said Kerry Seiwert. It's a two day event, showcases all eight Harry Potter movies. It started at noon on Wednesday, when the first four movies were shown. The final four will air on Thursday.
