One man is critically hurt after a one vehicle accident in northeast Wichita. Emergency crews were called out to the accident just before five o'clock Friday evening. Dispatchers say the 22-year-old ran into a concrete post on Hillside, under the K-96 overpass. Investigators are looking into whether the man had a medical condition. The man was taken to Wesley Medical Center for treatment.

Update: Police have identified the driver in this crash as 27-year-old Beradino Bonaminio.  No other information regarding what happened has been released. ---- One person is dead after a crash at 45th Street North and Hillside. It happened around 11:30 Tuesday morning. Authorities say a Jeep lost control and rolled over, ejecting the driver. The driver was killed, officials have not identified him. Officials say it will be tough to piece together what happened because there were no eyewitnesses.

The chase started on I-135 at Hydraulic where an accident was already clogging traffic. Our news partners at KFDI tell us the car sped down the interstate at 80-miles an hour, eventually exiting at K-96 and Hillside. That's when the car lost it's whole wheel. The driver hit the median and kept driving without a wheel. Sparks were shooting everywhere. At one point the run-a-way car nearly hit another motorist, forcing her to hop up on the curb, popping her tire. Finally, the car stopped near the Wichita State dorms at 21st and Hillside.

A man suffered minor injuries after a rollover accident in downtown Wichita. It happened near Murdock and Hillside around 3:45 p.m. Friday. Police said they were trying to stop the driver of an SUV for a traffic violation. The driver stopped the vehicle, then took off when the officer got out of the patrol car. Investigators said the officer could smell marijuana as he approached the car.   The driver turned onto Murdock from Hillside, clipped the curb and rolled. The chase lasted less than one minute.

Sedgwick County dispatchers say it's ok to drive on 37th Street N. between Hillside and Hydraulic. The street is back open after a train derailed around 9:00 Wednesday night. No one was hurt. ------- Wichita police are urging drivers to avoid 37th Street N. between Hillside and Hydraulic. A 911 dispatcher tells Eyewitness News a train is off the tracks in the area. There are no injuries. KWCH 12 is located at 37th and Hillside.

An accident at 83rd Street South and Hillside in Sedgwick County leaves one person in critical condition. Police authorities say the 60 year-old driver had a medical emergency and that led to the crash Tuesday afternoon. Paramedics took him to St. Joseph Hospital. His name has not been released.

An accident on K-96 between Hydraulic and Hillside slowed traffic to a near standstill for over an hour Tuesday morning.  Five to six vehicles were involved in the crash, but no serious injuries were reported. Officials on the scene say the crash was caused by vehicles following too closely. Traffic was slow-going for a while, but everything is back to normal now.

A 32 year old woman says she was robbed while at a business at Harry and Hillside in Wichita. She tells police the man reached into her car and took her wallet, then ran away on foot. Police say he left his car in the parking lot.  It's now been impounded. He has not been caught.

Four people are hurt, including the suspect, after a police chase ends in a crash at 13th and Woodlawn Friday morning. Around 10:00 a.m. police say two officers were at 13th and Hillside when they saw a red car drive by, hop a curb and then hit two other vehicles. Investigators say the red vehicle did not stop and continued east on 13th. One officer stopped to check on the drivers of the cars at Hillside, while the other began to pursue the suspect. Police say the suspect in the red car lost a wheel near 13th and Williamsburg.

A 6-year-old boy died Sunday morning in a Wichita hospital after a rollover crash on Saturday. Three others were taken to the hospital after their SUV rolled over near K-96 and Hillside. 6-year-old Cryisol Hall died after he and two others were ejected from the SUV. Officials say the vehicle took the exit too late, and rolled off the highway. Authorities are still investigating whether anyone was wearing seatbelts.

Wichita police are on the scene of a rollover accident at Central & Hillside in northeast Wichita. The crash happened just after ten o'clock Friday night. There is now word on any injuries. Drivers are urged to avoid the intersection as police clear the scene and investigation, which will likely take several hours.

An effort to pick-up a woman who skipped bond ends with an armed confrontation. The Wichita Police Department says four bail bondsmen went to the 1500 block of north Hillside to try and take a 22-year-old woman into custody. Investigators say someone else tried to intervene and keep her from going to jail. One of the bondsmen tells police the man who intervened pulled a gun on them, so the bondsmen pulled their own guns. The bondsmen say the man took off before police arrived.

Wichita police are still looking for a shooting suspect, who officers say fired several shots near Hillside and Waterman. Investigators say it appears the suspect was targeting a man on a motorcycle, but also hit a car traveling North on Hillside. Neither driver was hurt, but the car suffered damage to the windshield. The SWAT team was called in, and officers blocked off the area shortly after 11 Monday morning when it was believed the suspect was inside a home on the 3100 block of Waterman.

Wichita firefighters put out an apartment fire in the 3400 block of E. English near Douglas and Hillside. Emergency dispatchers tell Eyewitness News two alarms were called out to the fire at the Promenade des Jardins Apartments just before six o'clock Monday evening. No one was hurt. Crews contained the fire to a center building, used primarily for storage and laundry. Investigators have not said what started the fire.

Two people are hurt when two trucks collide in northeast Wichita. The accident happened around lunchtime near the intersection of 13th and and Hillside. Police say a red pickup was eastbound on 13th St. when the driver lost control and went into the westbound lanes. A dark-colored pickup in oncoming traffic hit the vehicle. The driver of the red pickup was taken to the hospital in critical condition. The passenger of the other truck suffered minor injuries, and the driver was not hurt.
