Prosecutors said, Kassidy Barrett was distracted by her cell phone when her car crashed into another vehicle, killing a man. Barrett was charged with Vehicular Homicide, a misdemeanor, for the June 2010 accident. Twenty-five year-old Tusten Edwards had pulled off near a concrete barrier in the center median of Kellogg near Seneca to get a tire when Barrett ran into Edward's vehicle, which then hit and killed him. Barrett admitted she was distracted because she was talking on the phone, and even texting just minutes before the crash.  During her bench trial Friday, prosecutors argued that's why she didn't move over to avoid hitting Edwards but Barrett's defense said Edwards was parked in a dangerous place.  According to witness testimony Edwards' truck was sticking a couple of feet out in the middle of Kellogg.
