(AP) - Police in Salina say four teenagers have been arrested in the death of a 48-year-old man. Robert Unselt had been involved in a fight with several young people outside a Salina home around 2 a.m. Sunday. He died that night. Deputy Police Chief Carson Mansfield told KSAL radio three of the male teenagers were arrested early Thursday. The fourth was taken into custody Thursday afternoon. Three of the suspects are 19 years old. The other is 18. A preliminary autopsy showed Unselt died of repeated blows that caused massive head trauma.

Police in Salina are now considering the death of Robert Unselt a homicide. An autopsy report shows that Unselt died from multiple blows. Eyewitnesses tell police Unselt was involved in a disturbance with three suspects when he was injured. Police say two of the three were wearing dark clothing and the third was wearing a white hoodie or puffy coat. They were last seen on Tulane, south bound on foot. After a preliminary hearing, Derrick Richard has been bound over for trial on first-degree murder charges in Sedgwick County District Court. Richard is accused of killing his neighbor, Grady Lane, in Wichita in July. Police say Lane's fatal shooting was the result of an ongoing dispute between the two men. Richard's trial is scheduled for early December.

Hutchinson police have issued an arrest warrant for Hoseah Masabah Kaminja in connection with a homicide. Police say the warrant is for suspicion of first-degree murder and aggravated burglary. Wednesday, police started searching for Kaminja for questioning in the case. They are also looking for a red 2007 Nissan Altima with Kansas plates VUI 800. The body of 41-year-old Wilfrida Masabah was found in a home in the 1600 block of Arthur on Wednesday. Investigators say she had experienced blunt trauma, but they have not determined the cause of her death.

He thought it was the perfect rental. Four bedrooms, three bathrooms, a fireplace and a nice backyard. Jordan Southern rented a home in the 4500 block of Norwood Court in Wichita. One day he came across a website listing unsolved homicides in the city. He clicked on an address and was shocked to see it was his home. In 2004, 27 year-old Ky Jones was shot to death in his garage. Wichita police still classify it as an unsolved homicide. That's what bothers Southern the most.

A man arrested in the shooting deaths of two men gets two consecutive life sentences. Austin N. Jones was found guilty in the deaths of 23-year-old Emmanual Belatorre and 18-year-old Jesus Manual-Esparza. They were shot by the Jones in July of 2009 at an apartment complex near Zoo Boulevard and West Street. Jones was found guilty earlier this year on two counts of first degree premeditated murder, aggravated assault and criminal possession of a firearm.

Police arrest a second suspect in a Salina homicide. Deputy Chief Carson Mansfield says 28-year-old Jose Manuel Garay was arrested in Dodge City on Monday. He's wanted in connection with a shooting Sunday night that killed 17-year-old Derek Dean Rico. Map - Location of Homicide An 18-year-old was also arrested for aiding a felon in connection with the crime. He told police he left the scene with Garay. He's accused of aiding a felon.

A suspect is in custody for first-degree murder after the shooting death of a man at a Wichita home. The victim has been identified as 35-year-old Grady Lane. Police were called his home in the 500 block of North Wabash just before seven o'clock Saturday morning. Map - Location of Shooting Police say Lane's wife called 911 after finding her husband dead. He suffered a gunshot wound to the head. She told police she had heard shots fired around eleven on Friday night, but just went back to sleep.

ULYSSES, Kan. (AP) - A southwest Kansas man has pleaded guilty to killing a couple who lived next door. Twenty-four-year-old Marcos Lomas of Ulysses pleaded guilty Thursday to first-degree murder in the stabbing deaths of Marcos and Hilda Garcia. The couple was found dead in their home on Aug. 30, 2008. A 4-year-old boy in the home survived. Lomas turned himself in to authorities in August 2009. The Garden City Telegram reports that Lomas entered the plea to avoid the possibility of facing the death penalty.

Latest Update By Chris Durden (WICHITA, Kan.) Wichita police say it appears 70-year-old Gene Whitmore shot himself. Investigators believe the bullet accidentally hit his wife as both lay on their bed. Sixty-six year-old Betty Whitmore also died. Map - Location of Shooting Police do not believe Whitmore had any ill will toward his wife and that it was likely an accident. Gene Whitmore had been unemployed for about a year after being laid off from his job. The couple's daughter found the pair Sunday afternoon at their home in the 3400 block of S. Everett.
