Latest Update - Sunday 12/6 Chauncey Howard is back in custody. He was picked up Sunday. Howard was returned to the Hutchinson Correctional Facility where he is now in administrative segregation. Howard was accidentally set free after a court appearance in Sedgwick County. Wichita police found Howard at the Wal-Mart at 29th and Rock Sunday morning. United States Marshals and Department of Corrections officers helped in the capture.

UPDATE: Police say Jared Sanchez has been arrested in Derby.  Information from cell phone records led authorities to the house. Officers say Sanchez surrendered without a fight. Investigators tell us they're glad he's off the streets. Sumner County Sheriff's Deputies picked him up after the arrest and returned him to jail. He's being held on a warrant out of Louisiana for a parole violation. UPDATE: A man has been taken into custody.  We are still waiting to hear from authorities.

May 15th Update It's a change in Sedgwick County's legal system so your private information doesn't end up in the hands of inmates. The development comes just days after an Eyewitness News investigation. We found suspected criminals are often given home addresses - even social security numbers - of people connected with their cases. It started with accused killer Buddy Jones. Jones is accused of the murder of Michelle Rawls. Jones discovered inmates like him are given personal information while preparing for trial.
