A Wichita church is in need of some repairs after a woman backs her car into it. Fire officials say she accidentally put her car in reverse and hit a set of glass doors. The doors led into the Christian Life Center, connected to Immanuel Baptist Church on South Topeka. The woman was not injured in the crash.

Growing up on a family farm and ranch near Ellsworth, it was easy to see how weather affected almost every aspect of agriculture and how important it was for us to know what kind of weather was on the horizon. Ross started attending storm spotter training classes with his dad while he was still in middle school because he wanted to learn more about thunderstorms.

History: KWCH was the first television station in Kansas and began broadcasting on July 1st, 1953 under the call letters KTVH Channel 12. The station was licensed to and broadcast from Hutchinson, Kansas about 45 miles northwest of Wichita. In 1956 station facilities were moved to the current location on 37th St. North in Wichita. In 1983, KTVH call letters changed to KWCH and ownership was consolidated with three other Kansas stations in the market. These satellite stations include KBSD in Dodge City, KBSH in Hays, and KBSL in Goodland.

KWCH 12 hosted the 22nd annual Top of the Class appreciation breakfast Saturday morning. The event honors the top graduating seniors at high schools across central Kansas, recognized for both their academic achievements as well as extra-curricular activities. High school counselors were asked to pick a student to represent their school. In addition to looking at the student's G.P.A., they were also asked to take into account awards, honor classes, clubs and sport involvement.

He spent several years on the crime beat and was weekend anchor for five years before moving to the 5:00 p.m. where he co-anchors with Cindy Klose.

Prior to that, Samantha was a reporter, anchor and producer at KUJH, the University of Kansas' station, and also interned in sports at KCTV.
