Brad Keselowski is pretty angry with NASCAR these days. After another top-10 finish in Texas, the defending Sprint Cup champion says what he's seen lately has him questioning everything he believes in. He's not happy about it. Before Saturday night's race, NASCAR confiscated the original rear-end housing from Keselowski's No. 2 Ford and the No. 22 of Joey Logano, his Penske Racing teammate. That could lead to penalties, including possibly suspensions, the loss of championship points and/or fines.

Bristol, Tennessee is considered the birth place of country music and for many it is also the mecca of short track racing. It's not quite Daytona or Darlingon or Charlotte, but to win in the half mile bullring is definitely an art. And it seems once a driver figures it out, they seem to be good at Bristol forever. Cale Yarborough, Darrell Waltrip and Rusty Wallace are among the drivers of yore who had dominating runs at Bristol. "I remember seeing guys like Darrell (Waltrip) and Davey (Allison)

A Pratt woman was thrilled when she won a NASCAR prize package for this weekend. That feeling soon turned to disappointment when the Kansas Lottery took the prize back. “I'm sure dreams do come true for some, but not for me,” said Pratt resident Leisa Mauch. Mauch's dream in this case was to get to the Kansas Speedway. “Kyle Busch, Kyle Busch is my guy!” For a few days, she thought she had the winning ticket. The Kansas Lottery sent her a letter and it said: "Congratulations from the Kansas Lottery!

NASCAR heads to it's "wild card" race in the Chase. But for Kansas native Clint Bowyer, Talladega has been anything but wild. He has won each of the last two fall races in Alabama. And you have to think he is one of the favorites again. "This is a big weekend I think for our sport, for our Chase and everybody involved in it," said Bowyer. "This can be a game changer. This is one of the tracks that can separate somebody and possibly win you a championship. " With everyone in the chase running so well, one bad race can be their chase.

There is no doubt that this past weekend was disappointing for Clint Bowyer. He appeared to have a pretty good car at Kansas Speedway, his home track. But he lost an engine very early in the race and finished 36th. "There is nothing we can do about what happened at Kansas except move on," said Bowyer. "There's nothing you can do about that. That's racing. You go home and get ready for the next weekend and make sure that all they guys stay focused and pumped up. We just got to go back out there and get it back this weekend in Richmond.

All you had to do is watch what Kyle Busch did on Saturday night at the Bud Shootout to know, the kid can drive a race car. In fact, with all due respect to former champs Tony Stewart, Jeff Gordon and Jimmie Johnson, he might just be the greatest wheel man of our time. But, is he a champion? As good as Kyle Busch is from February to August, when NASCAR's chase for the championship begins, Rowdy Busch seems to disappear, and sometimes even implode. So it begs a second question, does he have a champions mentality?

Ron Hornaday Jr. will drive for Joe Denette Motorsports in the Truck Series next year. The four-time series champion will drive the No. 9 Chevrolet and be partnered with crew chief Jeff Hensley. The team says it will run a second entry in select 2012 Truck Series races. Hornaday had to look for a job when Kevin Harvick said in September he was shutting down his race teams. The Nationwide Series cars are being transferred to Richard Childress Racing, but Kevin Harvick Inc.'s trucks are just going away.

Over the weekend NASCAR took the drastic step of parking Kyle Busch for the weekend, after he wrecked Ron Hornaday, Jr. under caution in the truck race. This is at least the third incident that involved Busch and what most would characterise as bad judgement. You may remember that Busch was ticketed for going 128 mph back in May. Also in May, Busch sent Kevin Harvick'se empty car into the pit wall after the race at Darlington. Despite having his drivers licence suspended by the state of North Carolina, and being placed on probation by NASCAR, it doesn't seem that Busch has learned much from his previous punishments.

Kyle Busch says he is sorry. Busch posted an open letter on his website, KyleBusch.com Saturday evening, that served as his first comment since the incident in Friday's truck race that lead to NASCAR parking him for the rest of the weekend. Busch sat out Saturday's Nationwide race and watched Denny Hamlin drive his car to a second place finish. Michael McDowell will pilot the number 18 Sprint Cup car on Saturday. Here is the letter from Busch: To all, I've had a lot of time today to sit and reflect, and try to put my thoughts into words as best I can. I want to sincerely apologize for my actions during Friday night's Truck Series race at Texas.

Spare Matt Kenseth the toilet humor. The driver of the No. 17 Roush Fenway Racing Ford was delighted to win Saturday night's Bank of America 500 at Charlotte Motor Speedway with new sponsor Fluidmaster on his car - make that with any sponsor on his car. In a race that saw five-time defending champion Jimmie Johnson suffer a Chase-changing accident in the final 20 laps, Kenseth pulled away from Kyle Busch and teammate Carl Edwards during...
