Kyle Busch has moved one step closer to sweeping the weekend at Bristol Motor Speedway. Busch won the Nationwide Series race Friday night to give him two wins in two races at Bristol. He won the Truck Series race this week, and will try to win the Sprint Cup Series race on Saturday night. Emporia, Kan. native Clint Bowyer finished seventh at the race, gaining 151 points in the Chase to the Sprint Cup. Busch had a lengthy battle with Brad Keselowski for the lead, and passed the Nationwide series points leader with 31 laps to go. But contact after the pass caused Busch to slide back to second.

Brad Keselowski grabbed the lead on a restart with eight laps to go, then pulled away to win the NASCAR Nationwide race at Michigan International Speedway on Saturday. Carl Edwards finished second, barely edging out a charging Kyle Busch. Justin Allgaier was fourth, followed by Paul Menard. It was the fourth Nationwide victory of the season and 10th of his career for Keselowski, who holds a dominant lead in the series points standings. Meanwhile, it was another rough day at the racetrack for Danica Patrick, who went down a lap to the leaders early on and struggled to a 27th-place finish.
