(WICHITA, Kan.) So what are your kids doing this summer? More than 100 students at Camp Allegro in Wichita are making music. The camp allows students from pre-school to high school to learn how to play anything from the flute to bagpipes, and anything in between. "I think the benefit's tremendous for parents and students," said teacher Rebecca Schloneger. "I hear a lot of people complimenting that their child is just that more sure of themselves, or they've found a way to work out their anger.

(WICHITA, Kan.) At least three nights a week. That's how often you'll find a 12-year-old Wichita girl battling the cold to bring a little Christmas cheer. With only a warm coat, fingerless gloves and violin, she's attracting some big crowds and collecting even bigger donations for the Kansas Food Bank. They call Azure Court 'Candy Cane Lane' for a reason. But sprinkled among the Santas and the snowflakes, you'll find something a little more classic. You won't find lights twinkling in time with the tunes, they're coming straight from the memory of 12-year-old Hailey Hinnen.

By Kara Sewell (WICHITA, Kan.) "Hard work just comes naturally to them," says Bret Goter. It takes a lot of work to sound as good as the 7th grade band class at Wilbur Middle School. "My ultimate goal is that these kids learn how to play an instrument and that they will play for the rest of their life," says Goter. Band director, Bret Goter is the man behind the music at Wilbur Middle School. He works with his students everyday. "When they start out as beginners and they're squeaking and squawking and they don't know any of the notes until the last concert of the year when they're playing full band arrangements of songs," says Goter.

For this Wichita group singing isn't just about making music, it's a way of life. They're the Kansas Boyz. 30-year old Devon Bray counsels troubled youth and started the group when he saw first-hand how today's music is influencing young kids. "It's all about rebellion and growing up too fast. I see it tearing up families," Bray said. You won't see saggy pants, bling jewelry, or lyrics that demean women in his videos. The group is made of 4 cousins all under 16-years old. For them it's about acting their age. "It's about stuff we do, you know, real down to earth," said the groups lead singer Devon Bray Jr. Bray produces shoots and edits all the music and videos himself, but he's no stranger to the music world.

Three brothers from Saline County took a break from harvest to make a music video.  They wrote their own words to the LMFAO song 'I'm sexy and I know it'.  Their version is 'I'm farming and I grow it'.  For three minutes, they sing and dance in the fields and among cattle. Greg, Nathan and Kendal Peterson created the video and the group known as "Peterson Farm Bros".  The goal is to promote agriculture and the importance of it.  The brothers say they owe all of their sucess to blue collar attitude they picked up in the world of agriculture.  "We didn't think it would go all over the place, that was a surprise", says group member Nathan Peterson.
