I've always subscribed to the notion that the only bad opinion - is no opinion. Unfortunately, that's the case with Wichita State Baseball. The Shockers dropped a 1-0 decision in eleven innings at Kansas on Tuesday and we didn't receive a single call about it yesterday on Sports Daily. Not one angry call complaining about a decision made during the game, not one angry call at a lack of execution, not one angry call about losing to KU. When indifference comes to typify your fan base - you've got problems - the Shockers have problems.

Gardner found himself in a jam early after a fielding error by Erik Harbutz helped put two runners on base in the top of the first.  Gardner got tagged for a solo home run by Jared King on a 2-0 count to give the Wildcats an early 3-0 lead.

"It's so hard to believe, because it's such a happy event that the whole world looks forward to," Brunette said.  "To think that this kind of thing could happen is just really tough.
