The April 14 tornado treated Spirit AeroSystems' buildings like they were made of aluminum foil. Layers were peeled-off and tossed all over the plant. The storm debris ended-up at CDR North. "Right after the storm, there were lines and we were backed-up and we were trying to get everybody through as quickly as possible," Cornejo and Sons' Morgan Koon said. Koon says right after the storm, trucks were bringing-in hundreds of tons of trash a day. But things have slowed-down now. The National Weather Service calls Sunday evening's tornado and EF-1. Larry Pankratz believes the winds topped 100 mph. "I'm sure this storm was more than 110. I'd bet money on it," said Pankratz. His wind generator took the brunt of the wind with hardly any damage. "It made a totally different sound than it probably ever has. I've never heard it make that particular sound," said Pankratz A sound he never wants to hear again because it reminds him of what happened on his property.

by Ross Janssen Millie was born on September 23, 2004 in Oklahoma. I got her from my cousins that live down in Chickasha, OK. Millie has traveled all over the central US on different vacation trips and even on some storm chasing adventures. In 2005, she ventured to the top of Bear Peak (a 9,500 foot mountain top outside of Boulder, CO) She made it all the way up and back down, even in the middle of a thunderstorm. Millie has been to western Kansas a number of times on storm chasing adventures in SatCam and while the number of tricks is limited, Millie is very good at knowing when the weather will change.
