A Dallas mall has decided it needs a curfew and and a dress code. From now on, no one 17 or under can be at the Northpark Center mall after six at night, unless they're with a parent or legal guardian. And mall visitors must be dressed "appropriately" for a family oriented mall. Spelled out, that means covered up bodies, and no visible undergarments. The mall says it wasn't any one thing that prompted the changes, it just wants to have a family atmosphere for the 26 million people who visit each year.

The Kansas Highway Patrol says 19-year-old Thomas Vernard Mosley, Jr., of Humble, Texas was driving west on Eagle Road when for some reason he ran off the road. The KHP says Mosley over-corrected, went off the other side of the road and hit an embankment. Mosley was taken to a Dodge City hospital where he died.

They say everything is bigger in Texas but I'm pretty sure they just meant it's a bigger hassle.  My photographer Greg and I really got into town around 3:50 but we didn't actually make it to the team hotel, a whole 10 miles, until closer to 4:30.  Wichita, we miss your 'traffic' right now. Brad Keselowski is pretty angry with NASCAR these days.         After another top-10 finish in Texas, the defending Sprint Cup champion says what he's seen lately has him questioning everything he believes in. He's not happy about it. Before Saturday night's race, NASCAR confiscated the original rear-end housing from Keselowski's No. 2 Ford and the No. 22 of Joey Logano, his Penske Racing teammate. That could lead to penalties, including possibly suspensions, the loss of championship points and/or fines.

Politics aside, NASCAR has a problem. Whether it's a big problem or a small problem it up for debate as is whether or not you agree with the National Riffle Association. This is not really about that. The problem is, politics and sports should be separate. NASCAR for the most part is a red state sport, and most NASCAR fans fit into the NRA's demographic. So it's easy to understand why most see little problem with the organization sponsoring a race. But what if it wasn't the NRA? What if it was MoveOn.org or Planned Parenthood?

Traffic in Dallas delayed the arrival of the Jayhawks a bit, but they are now at their team hotel. The team arrived around six Wednesday evening. They're now gearing up for their game Friday against Michigan. The game is in Arlington, but the NCAA is calling the area North Texas.  It's about 20 minutes from the hotel in Dallas. Coach Bill Self says he's glad they were in Kansas City for the first round and had some time to go home.  He says the players got to go to school for a couple of days and relax in their own space before hitting the road again.

It's hard to say that six and a half minutes defines a season. But in the game of basketball, it can definitely make or break it. In Saturdays NCAA tournament opener with Texas A&M, the Wichita Lady Shockers went from leading 20-19 to trailing 35-22. It was a hole they could not recover from. "Basketball is a game of momentum," said senior Chynna Turner. "We feed off our defense. A&M went on a run and we weren't stopping them. " The Lady Shox started strong, neutralizing the Aggies decided height advantage by getting the A&M biggs in foul trouble.

At first, the Shocker band was going to try and play both venues. But then something wonderful happened for Shocker Nation. The men won and WSU had a day to come up with a plan.

K-State looked like an elite team Thursday night against Texas. So much so that it prompted Longhorn head coach Rick Barnes to mention it after the game. "They are really good," Barnes said. "You can't beat a team that's not going to beat themselves. " IN a 66-49 victor, K-State was nothing exceptional but they were very good, advancing in the Big 12 Tournament. They will play the winner of the Oklahoma State/Baylor game. Rodney McGruder led the way with 24 points, helping K-State reach the semifinal of the tournament for the first time in two year.
