A missing Ark City toddler has been found.  Investigators say he was abducted by his own father. Three-year-old Anthony Hernandez was found around 5:00 this evening at the Cowley County State Fishing Lake just east of Ark City.  He is doing fine tonight. Police say the boy was abducted by his father, Francisco Lopez-Campos, during a supervised visit. The Amber Alert was issued late last night after police say Lopez got into a fight with his son's mother, even using a weapon, before taking off with the boy. The hunt for Lopez and his son concentrated around that lake for most of the day and involved officers from nearly a dozen different law enforcement agencies.

Michael Marsh was convicted of Capital Murder in the deaths of Mary Anne Pusch and her daughter Mary Elizabeth Pusch. The 21-year-old mother was shot and stabbed in June of 1996.  Marsh then set fire to her home, trapping her 19-month-old daughter Mary Elizabeth inside.  The toddler later died. Marsh appealed in 2004, and the Kansas Supreme Court reversed the conviction because the trial court excluded some circumstantial evidence connecting the victim's husband to the crimes.

A Saline County judge has granted a change of venue motion in a first-degree murder and child abuse trial. Attorneys for Antonio Brown asked a judge to consider the motion, saying their client could not receive a fair trial in Saline County. Brown is accused of killing his girlfriend's 14-month-old son in 2011. Police said Clayden Urbanek died from injuries relating to internal bleeding and a broken rib. Investigators said the child also had bruises all over his body. Brown originally pleaded no contest to the charges, but last month a judge allowed him to withdraw his plea.
