When laundry detergent capsules hit store shelves, many praised them for using less water and being more efficient than traditional detergents. However, that convenience has come with a price -- one a Wichita family knows all too well. Ava Lynn is fine now but she became seriously ill after eating one of the capsules. Click to See Photos “I'd never heard of anybody eating them,” Erin Haynes said.  “Or even come remotely close to ingesting them.  Until it happened.” A Wichita mother gets the scary call that her toddler has eaten several detergent pods and is violently ill.  Now, she's trying to warn other parents about the dangers of the highly concentrated soap pods that look like candy to young children.  It's a disturbing trend KWCH first told you about last week, with thousands calling for help across the country.

Nini, Flippers and Go-Go juice are part of a vocabulary you'll hear while watching the drama on TLC's "Toddlers & Tiaras. "  Local pageant moms, Chelsi Koehn and Hillary Sewell, say those are words they don't use.  They enter pageants because their children want to be there. "She just wants to do it.  I don't really want to tell her no if she wants to do it," says Sewell. The two moms may go to pageants for fun, but Sewell says they're also there for the crown, "I mean every one wants their kid to win, what parent doesn't?"

A missing Ark City toddler has been found.  Investigators say he was abducted by his own father. Three-year-old Anthony Hernandez was found around 5:00 this evening at the Cowley County State Fishing Lake just east of Ark City.  He is doing fine tonight. Police say the boy was abducted by his father, Francisco Lopez-Campos, during a supervised visit. The Amber Alert was issued late last night after police say Lopez got into a fight with his son's mother, even using a weapon, before taking off with the boy. The hunt for Lopez and his son concentrated around that lake for most of the day and involved officers from nearly a dozen different law enforcement agencies.
