By Eyewitness Sports (LAWRENCE, Kan.) CBS Sports reports University of Buffalo coach Turner Gill is in the running for the position of head football coach at KU. The interview was supposed to happen Sunday. Neither Buffalo nor the University of Kansas has confirmed the report. Gill led the Bulls to the Mid-American Conference title last season. The team finished 5-7 this year with a new quarterback. Gill has at least one connection to KU. His daughter attends school there.
