People who tried to log into United.com for a time Tuesday afternoon saw the following message: "We are experiencing technical difficulties. This will temporarily affect our ability to serve you online. " The site was back online about 4:30 p.m. Central Time. The outage did not appear to cause any significant problems at airports around the country.
